What makes a “boutique” photography experience?

This isn’t shoe shopping, is it? Boutique is a word that doesn’t seem to belong next to photography. Well, let me paint a picture.
I personally despise shoe shopping. It’s always been a struggle for me ever since I was a child. My mother shoving a different shoe on each foot asking, “Which is better?” Tracking down the shoe department clerk to ask if they have my size stowed in the back somewhere. Him pulling out a cold metal plate to measure my feet. Me demanding that I wear velcro. Dramatic, but you get the picture.
If only I had a personal shopper there to guide me to easily find the perfect shoes. Well, I did have this experience once I got older…and it was at a small running store. One might even say a boutique. Not only did she measure my foot without the cold metal plate, but she somehow understood the inner workings of my foot. It was magic. The only time she left my side was to fetch the shoeboxes for me from the back so that I didn’t have to waddle through the store in my socks.
Not to mention, I found the perfect pair within minutes.
So, what does this look like for photography? For me at Fertile Hope Photography, it means a few things:
It means feeling like you are an intentional part of the photographer’s world—because you are.
It means dreaming up a session full of crazy ideas, handing them over, and achieving them effortlessly through guided expertise.
It means having the preparation process streamlined for you so that communication and logistics feel like a breeze.
And finally…It means forming a lifelong connection with a photographer who wants the latest life updates and will always be there to support you, no matter the season.
If this sounds like you, then you must be a boutique-loving gal like me! I would love to provide you with the fertile hope “boutique” experience. Claim your free discovery call here, and let’s start chatting!
